Baohua Yang leads the research and development of AI technology for the Blockchain and Tuxedo products at Oracle. Previously, he worked on advanced topics in FinTech and Cloud at IBM Research. His work focuses on AI systems, algorithms, and data, with a special interest in emerging technologies like generative AI, Web3, and modern distributed systems.
As an architect, he has over 15 years of experience in systems and algorithms, leading the design and implementation of enterprise solutions and solving key technical challenges.
As an Open-Source developer, he has contributed to numerous projects (e.g., Hyperledger Fabric, OpenStack and OpenDaylight), and has led several projects including Hyperledger Cello and Hyperledger Fabric-SDK-Py. He previously served as a member of the Technical Steering Committee (TSC) and as the chair of the Technical Working Group in China (TWGC).
He has published over 20 papers in top-tier international conferences and journals (e.g., IEEE INFOCOM, IEEE Trans on Computers), along with several technical books and patents. He is also serving as TPC member and reviewer of several academic conferences and journals.
